Bosnia-Herzegovina is a great country to visit, especially for eco tourism lovers. Travelling in and around the country has become easier over the past few years and road travel is now possible throughout most areas. Some roads are still damaged from the war, and roads are sometimes blocked due to landslides, de-mining activity and traffic accidents, although these roads can be avoided when planning a route. Bosnia-Herzegovina is among the few countries in Europe that has less than ten kilometres of four lane motorways. Plus, the existing two lane roads between major cities can be quite narrow in places.
