Road Rules

  • Vehicles drive on the right-hand side of the road
  • Unless indicated (with a yellow diamond symbol next to the junction) priority is always given to the cars on the right
  • At any junction, even when the road goes straight ahead, vehicles on a road joining from the right have right of way
  • Horns should only be used in cases of extreme danger in built up areas
  • Outside built up areas a horn is used to indicate that a vehicle intends to pass
