City Driving
The roads are generally very good, particularly in the larger city centres, like Barcelona and Valencia, where there are high volumes of traffic. City Driving may be a little more aggressive than in more rural areas. A traffic feature in most of the major cities and towns across Spain is a multiphase, semaphore controlled roundabout where traffic lights are on the actual roundabout. Traffic signals may be high up and can be difficult to view in the full glare of the sun.
Did you know?
All vehicles must carry a reflective safety-vest and it must be worn at any time the driver gets out of their vehicle on the shoulder of the road – it should, therefore be kept in the vehicle, not the boot
