In the countryside, roads are narrow with two way traffic. Roads with two way traffic can be without traffic dividers and even without markings. There is, therefore, a risk that overtaking traffic will cross over into the oncoming lane. Drivers also need to be observant of weather conditions, especially when driving in the northern part of Sweden.
